OSO SLIDE MEMORIAL
Oso, Washington
On March 22, 2014 at 10:37am, 43 people were killed and an entire neighborhood wiped away by what remains the nation’s deadliest landslide. On the tenth anniversary, the Oso Slide Memorial opened as a gathering place to remember the community lost, honor the first responders, and provide a space for hope and healing. Subtle and thoughtful graphics were designed and coordinated with the materials being used by the artist who created memorial totems for those that were lost.
